Lorenzo Linares Duque

Known as "Linares" to all who know him, he was born in Camaguey, Cuba in 1952. He graduated from the Provincial Art School in Camaguey in
1973 and became a professor there in 1977. In 1984 he obtained a Master of Fine Art degree from the Institute of Art in Kiev, Ukraine. He has
had numerous personal and group exhibitions throughout Cuba in the years since. He has won numerous prizes for being one of Cuba's
foremost landscape artists. His work has been exhibited in various countries throughout the world including Italy, Spain, Denmark, Panama, and
now in the United States. The subjects of his paintings are found in the countryside around Camaguey where he makes his home today.

Enrique Amat

Enrique Francisco Amat Rodríguez was born in Havana in 1963.
He studied mechanical engineering at the University of Havana.
In the mid-1980s he became interested in ceramics and
participated in various exhibitions of his work. In the early
1990s, he became interested in watercolors and, later, in oil
painting. His work has been accepted for exhibition by the
Cuban Foundation of Fine Art and the Center for the
Development of Visual Arts, two of Cuba's finest art institutions.
His work has now spread throughout various countries in Latin
America, Europe, and, now here, in the United States. His work
is known for its simplicity and clarity of style.

Luis Enrique Camejo

Camejo is a 1996 graduate of the
Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana
where he is Professor of Art today.
Born Pinar del Río, 1971.

He has had numerous international
exhibitions in Spain, Mexico,
Germany, Panama, Canada, and the
United States. He has also had many
exhibitions in Cuba including the
National Museum of Fine Arts in
Havana.

This painting done in an Impressionist
style is of an artist drawing sheep
and the scene takes place on the
campus of the Instituto Superior de
Arte in Havana, Cuba's top art school.
